I think a part of me is in all of the answers except the last one wanting a foldable tablet instead. I'm still contemplating if a Z Fold is practical for my usage? I'm still not sure. I doubt I will be using the inner display that much. And even if it included S-Pen slot, I doubt I would ever use that toothpick of an S-Pen. The more practical one for me is either the Z Flip 5 or base S23.
The Z Flips do have their drawbacks. Cheaper and more pocketable when closed. But you still need to keep opening it up. A bigger cover display will not 100% resolve that since the screen is still too small to type on and most apps are built in portrait. You would also need gesture swipes to exit those apps if you want to use another one. And Z Flips will always get compromised with battery life and cameras.
I think I'm pretty content with what I have already. I was planning to move my AT&T sim to my Razr 5G but might keep it in my Pixel 3. Only use my Razr 5G and Flip 3 to stream content from their cover display or watch movies from their local storage.
Might focus getting a Steam Deck instead which can be used beyond gaming. It's still a PC. Already own all the slim/Lite versions of the PSP, Vita, and Switch. The Sony handhelds are already modded. I also have a Flip 3 for emulation. I have Gen 2 to 6 covered. Need a Steam Deck to play all the games I missed on during the last 8 years.
Current smartphones do not interest me like before. What I really want is the concept of the Motorola RIZR to become an actual mass market product.

Anonymous, 19 Mar 2023Finding way to merge Pro-i and RX100 is more important than... moreI have to agree that I'd be more interested in a Pro-i ii, but at the same time a larger screen would be great. My main phone is an LG V60, I find the screen to be too small at times. I'd prefer a 21*9 8" display. That would also leave more room for depth, since larger devices feel thinner. So it could be a double whammy. Larger screen, more depth for that 1" sensor.

Correct.
Im a fold user since Fold 2 (but had it swapped yearly to newer model). My brother was so jealous of the Fold 3 and when the Fold 4 was realeased we both got the same.
I would say Fold 4 is the most productive phone I have ever used - good for media, reading ang gaming. I also use it at work as my note and sketchbook. My only wish is that they put a better camera.
