Not being able to get the snapdragon 8 gen 2 is a major blow for these phones. Probably outside their control but nevertheless it will significantly affect the battery life and performance. Although Huawei is still the global number 3 in terms of market share for premium smartphone sales their sales are still declining and the lack of access to the latest chip won't help

Why do chinese brands have almost all devices with 6,7" screens? This helps to keep costs down compared if too many sizes are being used.
Chinese brands have many common local suppliers. And work together to avoid price hikes.

It will likely still be a top 3 dxomark but what bothers me is lack of snapdragon gen 2 and having only 8 gb of ram

I am deeply disappointed that there is no flat screen variant, to make matters worse, the curve is aggressive.
The size has also grown compared to the p50 and p50 pro, the height has grown to 161mm and width to 74.5mm.
I'd be happy to remove the periscope to get a shorter phone.
Lastly, as usual with Huawei, they just an odd screen resolution of 2700*1200 instead of 3200*1440 or 2400*1080 which is a pain for screenshotting. Although Vivo x90 has an odd screen resolution too, you can set the resolution as 1080, but I doubt you can for the Huawei.
This is on top of all the other Huawei frustrations that are not of their own doing.
Their only saving grace, and most importantly is what is arguably the best camera for me due to focsl length, shutter speed and variable aperture.

They had the potential to make the camera looks like Mickey but nonetheless, the new color looks pretty. Not a fan of the Art's camera island though... Also a shame that the vanilla P60 has the same size as P60 pro, just downgraded in terms of specs.

Still not happy about the rear camera island design, but I'm glad to see the Mate 50 series's variable aperture camera carried over to the P60 series. However, I noticed that the ultrawide and telephoto cameras in the vanilla P60 are the same as the ones in the vanilla Mate 50. Nevertheless, I'll wait for GSMArena's full review, as always.

huawei kunlun glass might be better than gorilla glass. PBK reviews did a test and it performs better than the disastrous victus glass. Check on YouTube

The main camera according to rumors would be 1/1.4" ..
The 48MP, I'd guess 1/2" (pro and art) and 1/2.4" ..
The 40MP might be 1/1.5" or 1/1.7".
