And I tried to explain you how USA strategically and politely made nokia not to be on top .. But it is not only about some nokia but all companies including sony they tried to push sony out from usa too.. you might know the official percentual statistics. But u have no clue about shady hidden tactics how business must strategically work in order to succeed. And part of that must be that one company will hurt other company
Since 2007 when apple nailed it and android somewhat too it was the end of the NOT ONLY nokia but Sony , LG , motorola HTC and others .. Sony-Erricson split up becsue USa company Ericson wasn't happy they been pushed behind sony .. So sony went own way yet still not enough ppl buys them
these players Oppo or Huawei , Honor etc came later I had Huawei P6 in 2011 and 2013 P7 and still Huawei wasn't popular only when Huawei made P9 started and P10 started to be popular..
Well if u saying they share same building then they have a LOT to do together.. Many companies paying patents to other companies it is basically spider web..and constant race and law suits..

If you look at Elop effect graph you can see Nokia was Growing more than Apple and Samsung from 2007 to 2010, then Burning memo was leaked and Elop Discontinue symbian and replace it with WP.
2021 Nokia released few symbian phones s60v3 were just C5 and E5 and even them were remake not original designs, C5 was release in 2010 with 3.2mp and 2011 with 5mp.
I do believe even in 2023 Symbian could stil sell hundreds of Million units, Kai os is doing fine even though its inferior to Symbian.

[deleted post]Because what you are saying is not true, i can challenge you show sale figures which show Nokia was dominant in Usa, since 2002 were Nokia managed 35% it has never been dominant there, even Nokia was no 1 in the world and symbian had like 60% marketshare in us they average 7 to 12 marketshare.
Also Nokia had nothing to do with Huawei Sanction and Nokia isnt western company, after China and Usa conflict Nokia wanted to split company in to two so it can serve both, that Huawei wouldnt be Phone powerhouse without Nokia Help, every Year Huawei pay Millions of Euro for Nokia patents and their Imaging headquarters is in Finland, Eero Salmelin Co founder of pureview is one leading Huawei imaging and they even use Same Building which used to be Nokia.

How about you telling every chinese phone makers to stop using Android OS, Snapdragon, Samsung display, Samsung/Sony sensor, Samsung/Nokia/Qualcomm modem, so we can see the true number of sales.
Chinese phone maker is nothing without the technology from US/alliances👍

[deleted post]Nokia stopped making good phones. That's all. They weren't removed from anywhere. They were sticking with a losing strategy (Symbian) while the iPhone and Android OS gained market dominance.
Up until 2009-2010 Nokia was king. I had a N81 and it is one of my favorite phones of all time
