Shellyman Studios, 30 Mar 2023Meanwhile, my S23 Ultra is still on the Feb patch...Even though is not so bad, I find it hard to believe. My A23 5G is also on February security. I doubt that a 200EUR phone is the same as a 1100EUR one. Maybe try to search it manually.
Then again, try Xioami phones. You will be on the same security patch even for 6 months in some models. Lol.

Still oversharpened and e... moreIts personal preference, I like the way Samsung process because when you slightly sharpen up the image, the image looks more clear when you view at full resolution, it's more important because when you post online people are not going to pixel peep like you guys are trying to test the photos. So I am on Samsung side for this one, slightly more sharpened is the right approach. It used to be bad in the past, but now it's the right amount.

I think it is some bad quality hardware component that does this and it is a shame that they keep doing it for newer generations...
This might be the cause I quit from Galaxy line for my next phone.

Main camera is fabulous and shadows aren't too bright either, in fact I've taken some against sunlight with quite dark shadows. Over sharpening I've seen no evidence of this at all and if you use 50mp mode it is super detailed. 200mp is overkill anyway but still good although you lose dynamic range at this resolution
