I can just see Tim Cook taking the stage and proceeding to wax lyrical about Xiaomi, Oppo, Motorola etc because that may have tried some the things in the upcoming iPhone.
Grow up will you, it’s business. Apple are going to talk about Apple, just all the rest tend to talk about their own products and services at their own events.

I know peopl... moreP.S.: When buying android phones, people look for cpu, gpu, display, battery, performance etc. People who buy iphones don't look for cpu, display and similar things. they see iphone so it must be great. it is obvious that iphones have the most fancy design with that fat camera bumb housing just an ordinary triple camera setup that you could get 5 years ago (i have been using a huawei mate 20 pro for 4 years until switching to samsung, i compared it to iphone 13 pro max in a shop, it was on par with it, even better in terms of resolution and clarity).
apple hypes everything, even the 120hz refresh rate is called "ProMotion", like it would be something else than the 120hz rate in android phones. Every little feature has an individual name. it is like calling a car a "super fast, self-moving, transporting ProMachine".
Of course other brands do such things too, but apple is like a poltitican who became president just because he could convince people to elect him (which is the case in all countries). There is no criticism because nobody can say anything. ios is not like android where you can have a look at every corner of the software, where you can look at performance, background data usage, bugs etc. there is no expert who could find a problem or other concern and call it out. only apple has access to your device and only apple can control it. apple is told to be the best in every term. companies buy iphones as business devices because they think they are safe. they ain't safe at all. pegasus software has shown it. apple just lives from people thinking it would be something better than other brands. just that. it could put a crappy mid-range chipset into its phones for god's sake, people would still buy it. vanilla iphone costs more than 1000$ and has a 60hz display and chipset from last years generation. people still buy it. imagine samsung doing this. people would cry instantly as they cried when gos was found in the software, which throttled the cpu performance while gaming. apple can put anything into its phones even full-time espionage software using all sensors from cameras to micropohnes to acceleration sensors, nobody would find out because it isn't open-source. it can sell selfie camera notches as "dynamic islands" like it would be some kind of improvement. but it isn't.
i wrote a lot, i could tell even more and go more into details and talk about more important aspects, but who cares, people will continue buying iphones because they look great as they continue electing presidents because they look great.
