Dominant force with PSP and Vita?

PSP consoles sold well mostly due to how extremely easy they were to hack.

And while I love my Vita a lot (my favorite non x86 handheld ever), that thing was sadly a flop.

Anyhow new Sony handheld with a 720p OLED (higher is unessesary overkill) screen would be a great balance between graphics, battery and performance, that plus enough non proprietary storage and I am interested (I see Steam Deck more as a portable PC, so while I like it I use it for more than that on the go)

If I had a PS5, I'd only be incentivised to get this if it had a 120Hz 1080p/1440p AMOLED screen. The PS5 is very much overkill for 1080p@60fps, and there's no reason not to play such games at 120Hz. Also, at this point LCD feels pointless to use on most devices. I'm not much of a fan for OLED either (burn in is a problem and so is the non-square subpixel arrangement), don't get me wrong, but LCD is an eyesore of a technology that needs to die at this point.
