Not surprised Samsung are losing money:
- same tired old phones year after year
- ludicrous pricing when everyone is looking to save money
- no longer making a small compact flaghsip type phone so no USP
- removing SD card slot, 3.5mm jack, FM radio
- no more accessories in the box, yet the cost is much higher
- saturation of the market with pointless phones
- people less inclined to buy for incremental upgrades
- reputation for poor Android updates until relatively recently

That's what you get when you go against the main fuel/energy supplier in the world and his friends, opec+. SK must pay, like any other westerner, 5x increase in prices for energy and other types of minerals necessary for fabrication.
BRICS is now bigger than G7, and will become even bigger with Algeria, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Turkiye, Argentina etc. $ is now eliminated from most transactions also.
On long term, SK should leave USA alone and get together with Asia and their friends. The West has now 1 billion people, while the rest are 7. Also, those 7 have the greatest resources of all, natural and in people. The West is now preoccupied with rainbows, inclusivity, vlogs etc
