            From this video samsung s23 ultra beats oppo find x6 pro in:

            daylight video on all cameras
            has better microphone
            has 8k video
            better night video on front camera
            better hdr
            better edge detection
            better daytime zoom

            What opppo wins:

            more detailed night video with terrible shaking and stuttering
            less lens flare then Samsung
            better night photos
            less over sharpening

            Overall samsung wins.

                      The sample photos are looking very promising and MUCH better than some of the photos I've seen earlier, there must have been some sort of firmware updates going on before the release. Compared to Find X5 Pro, I see much less sharpening applied and better handling of noise, and most importantly, it manages to capture an impressive amount of details even in an extremely challenging situation. It feels so unfair that only people in China can easily purchase this phone.

                      Look at this photo (https://cdn.dxomark.com/wp-content/uploads/medias/post-144822/OppoFindX6Pro_Photo_Lowlight-6.jpg) and tell me whether you can capture a comparable level of details with a compact camera with a type-1 sensor or even an APS-C sensor under the same lighting. Even if you used the latter and edit a RAW file in the post, it would be very challenging, especially in case you want to capture all the highlights in the background while keeping the final image noise-free.

                          No, any $100 cameras from 2010 would look absolutely garbage in comparison. Try including it in any one of the scenes where DxOMark took those sample photos and you will see them struggling hard to even get the exposures right, not to mention they will be a ton of noise to begin with. Glass elements are indeed a bit more transparent than plastic ones but it's not a magical material, so if their sensors are tiny and manufactured using outdated tech it will be obviously outperformed by larger, modern ones found on latest phone cameras. Also, image processing definitely matters.

                          BS. For people who primarily use dedicated cameras, their sensor rating is much more relevant and I don't see many people criticising their reviews.

                                I Honestly prefer Vivo X90 Pro Plus with Zeiss Natural Colors... overall the camera is a big W and a bit less expensive than samsung and way less expensive than Iphone... so yeah... hehe

                                  If we exclude them from the group then they are the 4th biggest with vivo being the 5th, that is nowhere near "poor sales", not to mention that Samsung's shipments have declined in the past year, while Oppo was the only one alongside Apple to see increased shipments.

                                    If a phone with a dedicated 10x telephoto lens somehow loses out to the one with only a 3x telephoto lens at 10x in terms of image quality, the former must have some serious issues with how it processes images. I would put the main cameras on Xiaomi 13 Pro and other phones with a type 1 sensor above that of the S23 Ultra based on GSMArena's comparison article.
