DxOMark: Oppo Find X6 Pro is the best cameraphone yet

That is a lot more up to date than many reviewers that use the same test standard for many many years with no updates. They take 3,000 photos and 150 minutes of video for eavh review in real life scenes as well as lab situations so they do comprehensively test in real life situations. The overall testing seems to be really comprehensive and transparent as they explain exactly how it's done. Have you even read how the test protocol is done? There overall score is questionable as they use a weighting for each of the categories. If you change the weighting you could get different results but the scores for the dofferent categories are useful. People just seem to be obsessed with the final score but they actual reviews are very useful. There are plenty people here who crticise them when the outcome is not what they want but how many of those have actually read the full review? My guess is very few to none. Again, how many have read the detailed article on how they test? Probably hardly any. If criticising, I think people should at least read the full results and fukk testing protocol article. Then they might be able to come up with a valid specific criticism

      The S23 ULTRA remains the King. Very balanced.

                  DxO marks are not bad but they are outdated and it is difficult to compare them to real situations

                    Oh, these comments...

                    A) DxO are french

                    B) No, $100 camera from 2010 doesn't make better photos. Prove it (I have done some comparisons... btw. for example Hauwei P30 Pro from 2019 makes better night shots without tripod than 1inch compact Canon G7X M2).

                    C) Ultrawide and especially tele camera are really good in case of Find X6 Pro. I've seen comparison with the S23 Ultra. Oppo had better details than 10x tele (especially at night). much(!) larger sensor with better resolution makes the magic.

                    Considering the HW and sample images, I believe that this may be the new king of camera phones. So I don't understand these post about DxO being paid.

                      Anonymous, 11 Apr 2023NO you wrong Samsung should just pay DxOMark like these ... moreWell supposedly on their site the pixel 6 pro beat the huawei p40 pro but in real life the p40 pro was better in basically every situation (i owned both at the same time and did real life, real time testing with vids and pics in different lighting conditions). They were pretty spot on with their reviews for the pixel 6 pro and p40 pro though (my preference went towards p40 pro with how i like my pictures/videos etc). so i trust them to a degree.

                              This will never change simply due to the fact that real cameras have large glass elements in front of the sensor and not just a piece of glass/plastic.
                              My point is, if you really care about photography where you're looking at DxOMarks, just buy a camera lol. BTW most photographers consider DxO a meme and don't actually listen to them.

                                  Their videos are bad on the other hand.
                                  But just because it's a chinese phone doesn't automatically mean it's crap, quite opposite, they are some of the best cameraphones right now.

                                    DxO is doing a great job and can be trusted.
                                    Everyone thinks the other guy is paying them, which means no one is paying them. 🤗

                                      Was checking the test pics on dxomark. The main camera delivers absolutely stunning results. The wide and zoom maybe not as great. I am guessing the Mate 60 Pro could better this.

                                        Dxo is trash.

                                        iPhone 14 is 7th while S23 Ultra is 12th, when in reality every single comparison I've seen puts even base S23 above iPhone 14 Pro.
