my friend had nubia with fan inside and buying at same time but his phone still work while my phone dead

RedMagic 8Pro this time for me. Price and projection features wise its the best hands down. UI can be easily fixed via a software while proper active cooling without an accessory is a very awesome thing to have.

the only thing that made this phone sell was because of the name ROG there. ROG used to be famous because it is well known from their laptops. Asus has no qualms about pricing it high.
Red Magic 8 Pro is the best gaming phone, and much cheaper.

2k is like 2050 x 1080 instead of 1920 x 1080.... same thing.
Some 1440p phones like the galaxies the last few years are actually 3k not even just 2.5k.

Amit05, 16 Apr 2023What is Full HD?Depends on the aspect ratio. The "K" values depend on landscape pixels. So a 16:9 display that's 1080p (1080x1920) would be considered 2K since it generally has 2,000 pixels in length. Same as how 2160x3840 is 4K. But this phone has a ~20:9 ratio, so it is 1080x2448, which is still technically 2K but almost nearing 3K. That's why "K" values shouldn't be used to determine image quality. You should always use the vertical pixels like 1080, 1440, 2160 since they are always constant with different aspect ratios. A 1080p 16:9 image will have identical quality on both a 1080x1920 and 1080x2448 display.

S23 ultra or Xiaomi 13 Ultra would cost same money, and does everything better than this crap, same performance, better cameras, better screens, everything is better, you need to be ludicrous to believe this Asus crap is even close to worth 1400 euros considering it's only advantage is.. a fan.. which will help to play shitty mobile games 1fps faster, than competition 🤣

Mobile gaming market exist for addicts and you no need to be addict with expensive phone, all those games will run on any phone, so final question is, what is the point of having gaming phone? :D

if im getting a gaming phone, its gonna be a redmagic. it's cheaper, and i still plan on keeping a galaxy S phone as a daily driver.

Software support is not up-to scratch. This phone needs at least a minumum of 4 OS and 5 security updates like OnePlus and Samsung.

Obviously that isn't the fault of Asus, but their approach would be quite a bit stronger in a world where mobile games worked differently. (These days, console games are more like mobile games in that regard, but that's another rant...)

That phone has everything better than Asus maybe except the gimmicky fan and headphone jack. On the other hand S23 has far better display, camera, features and software. It has twice as long software support and even has a slightly faster chipset. Forget Samsung, even the OnePlus 11 or Iqoo 11 are a lot better phone than this at half the price point, slap a separate gaming controller that comes with a cooler and Asus loses all its edge.
If I'm paying flagship level money, I will expect flagship level specs. Just because Asus slapped a tiny cooler on the back with some RGB, that is no excuse to downgrade rest of the things because "gamers don't need anything else", it's a phone and will be a phone for 99% of the time and those other devices are better phones that can also game as well and even better than this, so this phone is literally irrelevant. If you want to game that hardcore, but a OnePlus 11 and a PS5, and you'll still have change left for a game or two.
