AnonD-118669, 05 Apr 2013Pattern Lock is my favourite way to unlock the phone. To be... moretheres an app in cydia (jailbroken iphone, of course) called "Stride". This application is not pattern based but more Drawing based. You basically draw your password. Its pretty clever and different to the Android pattern unlock.

I love it. Wait for someone else to develop something. Then just use it and sell it yourself. Although it sucks.. it happens everyday. Unfair for Apple.. but cmon, go to your local markets you can buy copies of everything!!

Apple... stop wasting your time on lawsuits - they don't help your users. Your latest "innovation" was a revised connector?!! Now I can't use my dock and it's just as slow as the USB 2.0 on the other end! Then you've started mimicking Samsung - 4"+ screens, 8 inch tablets, what next? A "phablet"? Plastic casing? Flexible screen? Go back to designing cutting edge devices!

Let's just get the whole of HR, Legal and Customer Services to help design the next iPhone! Or the next Apple-designed processor! :)

Pattern Lock is my favourite way to unlock the phone. To be honest, first time when I saw the news on Bloomberg regarding iPhone Keynote in 2007, I was quite amazed by the way Apple use "slide to unlock" your phone especially with finger not stylus, as in 2007 all touch screen phones that I know were using stylus, only iPhone is the first in the world that fully use users' fingers to navigate the touch screen phone, that's to my knowledge.

I was wishing Apple will implement Pattern Lock in additional to their conventional Passcode Lock as it is already outdated and not as fun unlcoking the phone as using Pattern Lock. But with this patent lawsuit that Apple started to file with their "slide to unlock" I don't think paytern lock on iDevices is a possible thing that gonna happen.

apple lost ground because theyve focused too much in finding stuff to sue other companies at. they need to stop and start working on new ideas for their phones.
