nonsense that ordinary people do not read, they just point and take a picture!! Why don't we better make an effort to get a battery that lasts a week without discharging? It's not like people are using the periscope lens all the time in the streets, what's more, some of them don't even know that their phone has that function hahaha, another, it seems that Samsung is realizing that Sony is leaving them behind with its sensor 1 inch

If the quality of the 3-10x variable telephoto is the same or better than having 3x and 10x telephoto, what is the problem?

Im with samsung since 2019 as main phone.
S21 ultra, s22 ultra, s23 ultra....Next year i hold my current.. From 2025 God First i will get new samsung

The new A series (34,54) is definitely a regression compared to the previous series (😲), I hope this does not happen with S/Note 🤷🏻♂️.
And definitely NO Exynos ... 😱😱😱.

I find 3X camera on my S23U least useful. Main camera (23mm) is a bit too wide and next is 70mm a bit too long. It's a big gap between them. In those situations I miss my S10 with 2X zoom of 52mm focal lenght. It was very good when slight zoom was needed.

Pretty sure Samsung took the inspiration from Sony's Xperia 1 iv. I'm curious to see how variable zoom periscope telephoto camera will fare with 7x zoom difference.

Unless pen goes away.
Periscope with zoom lens takes more space than periscope with prime lens.
Also costs way more.
Samsung hates more costs.

Now samsung sees that its too much, from 4, its 3 now, next year, it will be 2.its like playing yoyo, up and down. Surely one day, flagships will get only 1 cam with......500 mpx.

Yeah. From a hardware point of view , there's not much of a difference. Especially if you don't root the phone. So might as well switch to Apple and be done with it .
At least Apple kept the stainless steel frame. Samsung removed that from the Note series, downgraded the display on the Plus and Regular, downgraded the RAM amount, removed the 3.5mm jack , the SD card slot (when they have their own SD cards 😂), removed the charger in the box , the wired headphones = iPhone with android .
Next up will probably be locked bootloader , no USB port . I'm surprised that they kept the display 😂😂😂 Next year we'll probably have to buy that separately as well .
I am a Samsung user, but I love the SD card slot more than a brand. I'm not a blind fan willing to pay so much for so many LESS features .
No 3.5mm jack = NIGHTMARE !

- need to increase salary, from top executives all the way down, the entire workforce
- need increase in sales
- increase the selling price ... but ... unable to increase the selling price extravagantly
- suppliers do the same
solution ???
- less and less quality
- integrate the whole thing
- being more complex from integration, hard to repair, buy and buy more
- make things separately, more and more accesories, buy and buy more
