It launched at 1300 euro in some markets in the Eurozone e.g. Germany and 1399 euro in other markets e.g. Spain and Italy. The price in Italy currently has 100 euro off though on Xiaomi's webiste so it is available for 1300 in Italy currently but it is still 1400 euro in Spain. These are the official Xiaomi prices. They don't charge the same price in all Eurozone countries even and in European countries that are not in the Eurozone, prices also can be different again so people will be quoting different prices depending on where they live.

By the way even with 1600 eur pricing it have everything.
S23 U is likely same for same specs. Apart the fact it came with worse camera, worse charging speeds, worse base specs, no charger and case in box like 13 Ultra by xiaomi, worse many else.
If this did not get UFS 2.1 or worse it could be great phone.
Also that screen you never know until you dont try.
If something is expensive it does not means is really worth. Same goes for cheap things. If something is cheap still it does not means is useless.
Just look at SE2022 4/64GB base specs without a charger started i mean initial release price was at 500.
For 500 some other companies gives proper flagship.
For example X40 Motorola at china had 450 eur pricing and is a phone at completely different level.

Having more brightness in 1% doesn't mean more brightness in real world. Just like the case of 14pro max vs s23u. The only area 14pro max looks brighter in map otherwise s23u leads. The sustainable brightness is measured in 100% apl of the white level. You're far off in this case.

This is very much the same as Xiaomi 12 Ultra. Just behind the circular camera bump there is no square like on 12.
