Xiaomi 13 Ultra will feature a metal alloy casing with a new second-generation faux leather layer on top. The new leather-like material on the back boasts an antibacterial coating, which is also dirt resistant and features a special anti-yellowing coating.
The leather bit will stick out near the camera bump with the combined thickness rumored to reach 15.6mm.
The top and bottom parts of the phone will taper out just like on a traditional camera for a more comfortable fit when using the device in landscape orientation. We can also see the larger camera island with the three Sony 50MP IMX858 sensors (ultrawide, short and long tele) and the 1-inch IMX989 main unit.
Xiaomi also shared a teaser video for the 13 Ultra which features the phone in its green color.
In related news, Xiaomi also shared details on the 13 Ultra's LTPO OLED panel which is jointly developed by Xiaomi and China Star. The C7 panel is confirmed to boast 1440 x 3200 px resolution and a maximum peak brightness of 2,600 nits for HDR content.
