      Why so small sensors 858???

AresinUAE, 19 Apr 2023Hopefully it wont take that long, but nybhonest guess is it... moreYou might want to take a look at "Trading Shenzhen" and get the phone directly from China. This online store has quite a good reputation and they have been delivering the latest and greatest China smartphones to Europe.

Wow a 50mp quadbayer sensor...... so innovative

Actually saw a sample of it at a xiaomi store early April. Other tech stores just had some print ads of it but no sample.

If its released here in 3 months, say July or August, thats the Fold and Flip announcement & release date and will definitely outshine the 13 ultra by then.

Thats my issue with the Chinese brands as i dont think they consider UAE as a prime market and they dont release their higher flagships here anymore. None of the Oppo Find X(s) Pros were officially sold here after Find X2, Vivo X90 Pro isnt even advertised now, even the Huawei Flagship Mate 40 Pro was released more than 1 year after release in China (at least the Mate 50 Pro was just few weeks delayed).

still with no desktop mode, with old USB tech, with sht software support, with poor performance after 10x zoom...Thanks but no, it's too expensive for what's offering.

3.2x and 5x telephoto is too close to each other. something like 3x and 10x as samsung does or one 3.5x telephoto would have been better.

                      This is post processing trick.
Not what hardware is gonna output.

DNG out of samsung cam app is regular 10bit.
You need to use ExpertRaw for more.
That is software thing, not hardware based.

Adding data would result in larger file with more resolution. That is why it replaces.

Anonymous, 19 Apr 2023yes this is it... there's no way they send back a phon... moreYeah, definitely! There will definitely less bias from somebody who has spent their own money on phones.

I only see it from small non-sponsored indie channels.

For smartphone reviews on YouTube, I only watch small non-sponsored indie creators like Juan Bagnell, TK Bay, Eazy Computer Solutions, and Flossy Carter to name a few. I really don't trust those channels with millions of subs that always talk about their sponsors in all of their videos.

I don't trust big YouTubers for a real review of any device.
Usually the real life usage of XDA community is a good guideline to go by.
So far, the 13 Ultra seems to be worthy, but more testing is needed( It's hard to top the ROG6 in almost anything outside the camera and screen).
