Even I personally find it a bummer not to have charger in the box when I got my brand new Sony Xperia 1 iv. But despite that, I don't find the chipset to be as hot as everyone thinks. I actually did a test to drive the chipset to the absolute limit by recording 4K/120fps continuously and it keeps going for 20 minutes until it shuts down for about two or three minutes. After that, it works just fine.

I don't think 2 OS update is a problem, especially for people who change phone every year through carrier.

Totally doubt Sony will release an Xperia 5 with 16GB RAM. Sony never done it before except for Xperia 1.

blue, 24 Apr 2023In reality people ignore Sony Xperia.Not true, here in indonesia, many sony fans eventhought its kind of illegal device because sony has left indonesian market for few years, im included 1 of sony fans from indonesia, it can be legal but the price can jump high, i love their screen technology, hi-res audio( im not really counting on loudness/dB rating), and sony's very natural image capture

Surely not understand why so much complain againts chargers - or the lack of chargers in the box.
Everybody has multiple chargers, multiple cables, because it is very likely that it is not your first phone.
And especially if you buy a 1000+USD phone, you should have a tons of cables and chargers at home.
If you don't, then you can really afford it...if you can afford such a premium phone.
Sony phones always had its weaknesses...but these are not amongs them.
