It's usually the lack of SD slot or audio jack. Today it's about the price. Pretty sure even if they reduce the price of this people will be still complaining either for a lack of charger or something else

      The thing is that people expect Xperia to cost as much their budget chinese phone. Anything more, and they start crying

          Tho I appreciate their design language still supports lots of useful features 🎧 jack rgb notification led... Which we appreciate it b4 on a smart phone plus a full screen without cutouts or holes alas all r gone hopefully some of the manufacturer will bring them back an flagships, story short sony still have lots of inconvenience to be considered about software support about their camera they equip the best sensors but arguably they can't fix theirs it's bit of contradicting their screens not the best expensive with nothing in the box...

            Sony phone has nothing special except for 3.5mm Jack and MicroSD.. The rest are underpowered performance, bad cooling, 2 OS updates, 33W.. good camera but not the best and what else is good?

              I'll hopefully buy it in 1-2 years after release when it's cheaper. Since it will have a TSMC chip, it's worth buying later. 5 iii/iv not worth buying now due to Samsung chip.

                I would love to have Sony device but their market availability is super limited. They are one of the rare manufacturers who know how to make aesthetically appealing, easy to handle, no notch phones

                    If only the software support would be better... I have the Mark III but too many bugs, and after two years on the market it will already go out of support.

I appreciate the headphone jack and microSD. But the pricing is ridiculous

                              Sony is not serious selling their phone. Their phones are hard to find. Maybe Sony phone just available on Japan,

                              ...but most people in Japan use iPhone.

                                My favorite phone but it has too many cons.
                                First of all it is too expensive, then it comes without charger and even no cable for that ridiculous price.
                                Battery drains too fast, screen is not bright as its competitors, camera light is also too weak.
                                Speaker loudness is below average, wifi is also not excellent at AC networks

                                  This or the Moto Edge 40 will be my next phone. Love Sony!
