YUKI93, 07 May 2023There's an Ultra version of last year's Edge 30, ... moreThink such a thing already exists, it’s in the S23 series, likely because Samsung secured an exclusivity deal. How long that would be for is anyone’s guess, but if there is a plus variant of the 8 gen 2, it should pretty much be what is already in the S23 line.
Anyway getting back to the topic at hand, it’s Motorola, they don’t need to rely on a new chip as an excuse to release new versions of new phones, they’ll just do it any way. Maybe they’ll swap the camera’s round on the back, or move the hole punch slightly to the left or something 🤷
One things for sure where Motorola are concerned, we are never more than a page refresh away from the next one……

By all means no. Moto will screw their customers with lack of updates to their phones.

No, my pocket is not large enough for 6.5++ inch phones.

If they could've kept the vanilla model as cheap as the previous Edge 30, it definitely would've been something I'd consider buying.

Not sure about the Edge 40, but Edge+ (2023), aka Edge 40 Pro, is an absolute no-brainer. You get S23 Ultra features for S23 money. Even Ready For is a better Desktop Mode than DeX.
