At first glance I thought this was the Galaxy S21 Ultra lol
But hey I'm all for a HTC comeback! More competition always good for the customers!

Nice specs, but this small battery is a deal-breaker to me. Otherwise it's a great move to finally bring wireless charging to mid-range segment.

Looks like a very promising phone, though I'm not so sure about the SD 7 Gen 1 chipset.

Samsung would c... moreHTC basically stopped its smartphone division years ago to focus on VR/AR, so you are paying €1400 for a HTC with doubtful software support. HTC in the past already pretty bad in software support, but its non existent currently. Only the most hardcore HTC fans will get this, and after a year they will complain about the software support.

.....I would LOVE HTC to come back. I miss this brand so much as an ex-One M8 owner. Even more killer that they brought back the headphone jack.
If this thing is priced at $400 with IP67 minimum, this would actually be a decent deal. Shame it won't come to the US but we desperately need more brands out here. I'm awaiting Sony's announcement as that's the only brand I'm interested in now with how the others are just all the same junk (with the semi-surprise of Motorola this year).

As usual it will be priced at around usd500 and will have only 1 os update at best. Bound to fail.
We need lg back. The had some hardware issues(bootloop) but their phones were priced correctly and had decent software support.

Ngl, it looks solid. It kind of reminds me of some Motorola devices.
Now, we need price info.

Anonymous, 07 May 2023Long live Taiwanese HTC!Htc has brought many contribuitons to mobile world, unlike some chinese brands that believe increasing ram and charging speed (while testing battery lifespam at 10W instead of 240W) think they have done useful things.
Even iphone has brought more new stuff compared to xiaomi, realme and oneplus.
