It feels like this company collapsed at some point and is now just a shadow of its former self.

It seems as if a galaxy F had a child with someone

Anonymous, 06 May 2023This humiliates redmi note 12 pro+ and a54 Not exactly hard to humiliate the A54, the phone with the biggest bezels on any phone above 200 usd. Looks and feels like a toy in the hand, even with that pointless glass back.

BrianCoriour, 06 May 2023I thought they died.Close, but not really, they just licensed their Wildfire (and likely Desire) series to whoever was interested in making phones under the HTC brand. Their flagship U series however doesn't seem to be sold to anyone, but we will see, if that's actually true.

While it may not be a true flagship, the 7 gen 1 is a very good chipset, and this phone seems like HTC wants to make a comeback.

                          Samsung is that you 😳

Anders, 06 May 2023Great that it has a headphone jack but what's the deal... moreBack in the day we used to mock iPhones for having huge bezels (I'm talking about OG iPhone to iPhone 8)... And here you think that the bezels on the HTC U23 up there are "Huge"... Wow.

Does it have metal unibody? Here's To Change 🥲

For a second i got excited thinking we're getting a HTC flagship again... but alas, this is another midranger... At least the specs don't seem so bad this time.

My first flagship Android phone was a HTC Amaze 4G. It was too good back in the day. Since then i used numerous iconic HTC phones like HTC E8, M8, M9, 10 & some other models whose names i can't recall. Didn't get to use U11 or U12 though, but to be honest they were just copying Samsung at that point. HTC's forte was their metal bodies, and they should've never given up on that...

Some other sources mentioned 12 GB of RAM. I am curious what will be the truth. I would be glad to see even a mid-range phone from HTC with the 7 series of Snapdragon, and with a much better camera system.

Great that it has a headphone jack but what's the deal with that top bezel? It's HUGE, they probably could've put the selfie camera in there like Sony does instead of the hole punch

I remember a time when HTC was the pinnacle of solidly built devices alongside Nokia.
                                        This isn't that time though.
