That's the third name for the same chipset after the Dimensity 1200 and Dimensity 1300.

Literally nobody cares. MediaTek should just keep the names. Whats wrong with 1300 and 1200-

I taught that mediatek might be on par when compare to snapdragon.
but with such kind of development and change of name, i think its not gonna happen ever in this life -_-.

Phone processors are now insanely fast at a reasonable price. I'm using a D700 (which is already quite fast) and I can imagine it would be hundreds of times faster if I upgraded to a D1080, D1100 or more. Can not imagine if the 8000 series.
