    Oh ok. For a second I thought it said YouTube was removing Shorts and was very happy. YT shorts is probably the second worst thing to have existed, the first being tiktok.

      Jbis, 31 May 2023You can tap on shorts to pauseOkay, I might have been wrong, I've just been disgusted by the lack of control that Shorts have. If you can pause, this is a good step forward in usability and brings control of Shorts just over the control of YT ads.

They push them too hard and the experience ends up being a video you can't even PAUSE, let alone seek through. And despite being short videos (easier on the servers) creators earn a lesser cut of the ad revenue.

            And Ok YouTube Never Put That feature on my account i begged but No result no not go away Stories. Yt shorts are worse but ok, pls 😭rip stories , Why you need abanton Stories for shorts, shorts are way to take break or and relax, and Stories are for to see what your favourite yutuber is up to date so yea.

              Build a decentralized form of video uploading and younsolve this. Because then it is public property and protected by the 1st ammendment. Centralized services are by definition anti 1st ammendment.

              Companies are good to make the initial investment and build the 1st structures (and why not, profit from them for 1-2 decades) but very bad for being the continuing masters of content. Everything that is in wide use shoukd end up decentralized or else you get censorship, Chinese level censorship.

                That's the new Google for you. Half thought features that they spend millions to create and then abandon. Literally nothing they built in the last decade and in this took root. They are a dying company, reacting instead if pro-acting.

                  another thing that google kills. great job, bad management that is paid with millions of usd.
