And people here mock Tiktok and want their politicians to ban it when other socmeds are copying them anyways.

For a second, I rejoiced thinking they were going to discontinue YouTube Shorts! Of all the platforms to implement shorts, YouTube’s algorithm is rotten manure. Inspite of asking not to recommend a channel, it repeatedly shows contents from that channel. And you’ll see all the best content on the first video itself. Everything else afterwards is hot garbage. It’s probably the lack of creators, with the format filled with these ‘respect’ videos with thousands of likes. Absolutely garbage!

Youtube sometimes ago was graceful and there were so much good creators. Then they need to bring shorts which made every thing worst. The worst creators came and now makes the cringest contents and Youtube promotes that. They made the UI worst, the trending page opening on the strat was good and now you have to make so much clicks to reach trending. The recommendations are also worst. They changed the good old simple way to change the resolution. Man that homely Youtube is now nowhere to be seen.

the stories thing was rarely used now. since they rely more on shorts which is another google branded tiktok wannabe.. i wish they abandon that too. it'll make youtube a better place without cringe content covered as "shorts"
