They have models with minimum of 8GB RAM, they are mostly cheaper then anywhere in the world, they have a special phone models just for them, sure they are very similar to global one but STILL! They are a completley different market then any in the world! Samsung's F series for example and same story goes with other brands sellimg there, like BBK brands and Xiaomi. They all tailored special offers just for India.

I'm honestly mostly struck by the BoM falling at all, breaking such a long trend - and now of all times, in an inflationary period in the wider economy!
If flagship phone manufacturing is getting cheaper generally that's a good sign for the future.

Also, R&D isn't necessarily about "invention".
Also, I didn't even try to say that Samsung has good smartphones: they don't deal with PWM flickering, like, at all (even tho their display division is fully capable of doing that); they still make "flagships" with side-curved screens (450+ ppi ones); their Z Fold 4 has 2 (two!) additional selfie cameras, negating one of the points to even have a foldable smartphone (not that there were many to begin with). Not to mention Exynos, bloatware, accessories and prices.
Just stop trying to get into a non-existing argument.

GPU-Performance, not even close to the 8 Gen 2. And when a test was done with gaming + a video running at the same time, the iPhone failed miserably while both the S23U and the Pixel 7 stayed smooth. Apple is losing their advantage real quick now, it's not like iPhones have the same status as they did many years ago, crowned as the absolute best anymore.

[deleted post]Not sure how you use your Xiaomi charger for it to last only 1 year. I have been using the 10W charger I got from my Xiaomi A3 for 3 years to charge various devices daily. Meanwhile, my household have seen Apple 20W charger used for charging my wife’s Iphone being replaced 2 times in the 3 years.
