Google tensor G3 specs and benchmark scores leak, shed light on Exynos 2400

05 June 2023
It has a nine-core CPU, and a ten-core GPU with ARM's latest graphics cores.

Too many Samsung and Google paid trolls here, who don't even know it's invalid to compare score between geekbench versions. Honestly, how can you expect good chips from these companies who pay such ignorant ones to be trolls? They better make potato chips instead.
I wish to revisit and this page and have a laugh when G3 comes out and still full 3 gen behind of TSMC 8 gen 3.

You either read between lines or pretend to be this kind of dumpling or simply actually am a dumpling.

I really recommend go do some reading, its free. This site might be a good start and good for you to go through those 48 pages... https://forums.anandtech.com/threads/leading-edge-foundry-node-advances-tsmc-samsung-foundry-intel.2579857/page-48#posts might learn a thing or two about foundries, processes nodes, cores, configurations and how it works, besides those score numbers you know...

Anonymous, 07 Jun 2023Lol you got exposed, yours is Geekbench 6 score. Don't... moreMan do you even read what other people is saying here or are you really a buckethead trying to sound so smart, yet know nothing besides just score numbers. It is almost comedy reading all your comments. Do you realize that Geekbench 5 is oudated and cant test properly configuration that G1 and G2 uses with 2xCortex-X1 cores. Resulting in way way lower score, compared to other CPU's. On Geekbench 6 all CPU's score higher because it is finally updated since 2019 Geekbench 5, but G1 and G2 scores a lot higher when compared, because of that unique 2x larger core configuration.

          Cheers.

I remember some known Pixels leakster on twitter mentioned it is going to be 3nm with very big gains and very good efficiency, so this is very confusing if it is even real. When we finally see real benchmarks in the Fall it is going to be more accurate. Really loving new design of Pixel 8 and Pro having flat screen is really appealing to me, might be my next phone, but Pro is on a bigger size for my hands.

Anonymous, 07 Jun 2023On 9/13/2021, the Geekbench 5 score for Pixel 6 pro is show... moreExactly. People thinking that this bench is legit makes no logical sense. TensorG3 going to use new cores just like SD8Gen2 also it is going to use (9 cores) setup based on new actual 4NM node with improved yield. Also as reported G3 not using weak Cortex A710 cores which were really not good and not efficient, this is already a win compared to SD8Gen2. G3 1x3X, 4xA715, 4xA510 core setup looking very interesting and promising, anyone thinking that such cores setup benches this low have no clue about CPUS at all and just reads scores rather than read about actual hardware.

This Tensor G3 bench dont make sense as it suppose to use new process node and new cores X3, A715 and A510 yet benching so low. Also at the same time it shows up as ARMv8 while it should be ARMv9.

Geekbench 5 is outdated and dont read new CPUs properly, same as it dont read Tensor configuration properly which uses unique double X1 cores configuration.

It's 1056 and 3187, less than what you report. I'd trust this over an absolute nobody like you.
In case you overclocked, that doesn't count, as it sacrifices battery life and thermal management anyway.

Anonymous, 07 Jun 2023You truly are the ignorant Samsung or Google employee here.... moreYou are talking absolute nonsense just to downplay upcoming G3. G2 literally scores at around 1400/3800, did bench multiples times yesterday and it results in around that score on all tries. Not to mention that G2 easily competes with 8 Gen1 and even 8+ Gen1 in rendering power, finishing tasks even faster.

I am not a fan of Samsungs Foundry too, it is nowhere near TSMC efficiency and yield, but finally it is going to be a new and real 4nm process node from Samsung which shows big improvements. G3 will use completely different configuration, without A710 cores, which were basically a downgrade compared to A78 cores with bad efficiency, this will be a big difference compared to Snapdragon and MediaTek which used those cores. G3 configuration not using A710 cores will benefit in efficiency from that alone.

Stop chasing scores and with hat said "As for Geekbench leaks, often it's very close to final score." this is the biggest nonsense or lack of knowledge, this bench is from April, just a test configuration. "often it's very close to final score" close and final? when it was done in April and G3 coming out only in October? G1 and G2 early leaked scores where nowhere near final product, scoring literally 30% to 40%. And once again G3 will use different core configuration to the competition, which Geekbench can't even test properly yet, hence the lower than real score, same as when G2 came out, it basically slid in between 8 Gen1 and 8+ Gen1 scores. G3 should be close to SD 8 Gen 2, especially with 9 core and actually better cores configuration, without use of bad A710 cores, GPU seem pretty good too, especially for how Google uses GPU for their computational and smarts stuff, but actual efficiency is different story, which still be lacking compared to brilliant efficiency of TSMC.

Get some actual facts and knowledge first and avoid sounding absolutely mental with made-up nonsense like "You truly are the ignorant Samsung or Google employee here". Get some better hobby than writing made-up nonsense only reflecting your own misery.

                            Have a nice day.

Typical Tensor G2's Geekbench is 1055 and 3214, which is obviously less than G3's leaked scores in this article. So your statement "It is basically G2 score" is false. As for Geekbench leaks, often it's very close to final score. Just check out GSMArena Geekbench leak of S23, which was also the first leak for 8 gen 2, scores very close to review unit. Link here:

It's safe to assume that even our trusty MIDRANGE 7+ gen 2 has much better benchmark score and efficiency then whatever chip your company employs. 8+ gen 1, which is over a year old is even better.

G3 will use new up to date cores, new Samsung 4LPP 4nm node with new GAAFET transistor, which is going to be big improvement. Still years behind in performance. I'm sure no improvement in efficiency either. They can only brag about core count. Ever wonder why they made it 9 core? So that they can get ignorant masses to think it's better than Snapdragon's 8 cores.

Overheating and poor battery life is returning to Samsung next year. This year you were lucky to get TSMC only S series.
