Always funny to see the Samsung haters. They moan about Exynos without actually realising that an Exynos Chip with RDNA graphics is a massive jump. It'll be putting it in a class with the Nvidia Tegras now. I'm quite interested in seeing the performance.

Manufacturers will always target 1 to 2 days use, it has been like this since the dawn of smartphones, this will never change chips will draw the same amount of power every year, but what constancy changes is the performance of the chips, hence they get efficient every year because they draw same power as previous generation chips but perform they better, yes latest 4nm chips draws same power as 28nm chips, but latest chips are 40 times more faster than those on 28nm, so there is where your efficiency goes, if you take same 28 nm chip form 10 years ago and manufacture it in 4nm node, the battery would last 5 days as chip would be bare drawing any power even if you push it to max :)

Anonymous, 05 Jun 2023Does not make any sense as G2 scores 1400/3800 on Geekbench... moreTensor G2 makes around 1050 in Geekbench 5 vs Tensor G3 1186 also in geekbench 5 so it does make sense.
Geekbench 6 we don't know it yet but we'll se.

Something it's not adding up considering the cores/freq they are using. Final product should get close to gen2/9200 numbers so being around 1 generation behind...if not it doesn't bodes well for Samsung's return to exynos next year in selected markets.

i dont care if it has 9 core 10 core or even 32 core, it still runs slow.
no matter if its in 3nm, 2nm or even smaller that moore's law is next to pointless, it still drains battery like 28nm
neither, no matter they put too much cooling intergrated into the phone, it still could not keep up by its unleashed heat from exynos. nothing beats the heat of exynos, you can cook an egg, or even use as clothing iron
as for google, its cheap for them.

In the surreal world we all live in (since the Pixel Fold price of $1800 was announced) T2 in the soon to be released flagship Pixel Fold made an appearance in the October 2021 Pixel 6 Pro

The Fold brings Google to the market, more competition, the pre order price including the freebies leave a lot to be desired.
We already have a ball park figure of what the Tensor will deliver.
The Tensor 3 will be sub existing Vivo Mediatek

AnonD-546724, 05 Jun 2023I'm talking geekbench 5 Einstein, as values of the art... moreGeekbench 5 is oudated and do not utilize newer hardware properly, especially as it comes to new cores and configurations. Not to mention that it is prototype old bench, which do not make sense at all. And comparing this to even 8+ Gen1 and saying that G3 will be behind, now that is some real Einstein logic, hope to see you back here when G3 actually comes out and will be "behind" 8+ Gen1.

Anonymous, 05 Jun 2023SD810 = tsmc 810 was so bad that Samsung was chosen by QC for 820,835 and 845. Then TSMC improved a lot in manufacturing 855 and 865 while Samsung started on a downward slide.

"The Exynos 2400 could use a similar nine-core or even ten-core CPU to the G3 but bring an upgraded Xclipse GPU, based on the AMD RDNA2 with four times the cores."
The xclipse 920 had 6 compute units, its not gonna have 24 in the 2400, only 12.
