Anonymous, 05 Jun 2023What success? Sales are below s22 already Aside from S23 Ultra, the hype for S23 series died down after just 1 month and Samsung is heavily discounting S23 and S23+ to get sales. I can see already what news headline from Samsung going to be at the end of the year.

And with new cores, this benchmark absolutely make no sense.

So still behind S8+ Gen 1, meaning when S8 Gen 3 is announced (same month as Pixel 8) this Tensor G3 chip will be 3 full gens behind. Why google, out of all suppliers, why pick Samsung and their cursed Exynos ?

Samsung themselves gave up on the 2400 for their S23 series !
Can't be more obvious than that !

At best this score will go to 1250-1300 at the very best but i even doubt it goes that high. Which means the final production models always get scores close to their prototypes some months earlier. I'll save this topic and will come back here when the pixel 8 launches.

This will surely be better for battery life, but will it be better overall?

Feel sorry for those who've just laid out 1800 for a fold with the tensor 2, it's not fit for purpose in a device primarily to be used for multitasking.

Anonymous, 05 Jun 2023wow samsung really make tensor as guinea pig No more pixels for me. Typing this on my pixel 7 pro which has horrendous battery life and subpar performance. I came from a s22 Ultra which has felt like a huge downgrade. Will be happy to dump this thing and never come back to pixels

                                      The 8 gen2 is pushing more than 1500 and Apple's A16 almost 2000 lol

Is samsung really considering exynos for the 24 line up after the s23 snapdragon success, could be a bad move
