We went see apple vision pro of gsmarena style 👁️‍🗨️🥽💼

Just add 200mp, 20x optical, IR cameras with IR light and you can call it super-vision pro. Or even better, add Thermal camera so you know the temp of all objects, like: this milk is too hot, this person is sick,...
For anyone complaining about processing, it will run faster than not so new computer, or could possibly have some external hw or wireless connection to computer through wifi.
As for phones/tablets, you can have virtual one of any size, with in comparison unlimited space for cameras.
As for safety, it should be more safe looking at space around you than looking into phone with a head down. Even more you could have more hdr sight(even IR aside), some AI help too. If it could double as helmet it would be perfect.

Why lots people are so concerned of the privacy. Because I'm not. I'm wide open to look on and I don't give a shit.

            I see some main issues:-

            1. Privacy disaster with all those cameras, mics, and a "company declared" privacy policy, rather than user declared.

            2. Socially, this will bring huge distances if this is to go mainstream as a laptop/ mobile phone replacement. Eventually, Android world will bring their cheaper versions and it will actually kill socialisation. Even today, people are into mobile phones so much, they forget to talk or even look around, this will insert the final nail into the coffin.

            3. I can imagine energy wastage with around 23MP(x2) sized images being pushed at 60 fps (at least?).

Although, there are countless merits and possibilities for developers. Developers are in for a treat as they make more and more applications to use this system well, including for navigation, augmented vision, education, business presentation, etc.

I will do all I can to prevent this device from reaching my family or anywhere around. This is excessive digitisation in my opinion. But yes, Apple are onto something.

AnonD-1094444, 08 Jun 2023Sure, keep telling yourself that. Also, ask the people who... moreApple didn't released the first smartphone/tablet/wireless headphones...etc

It the same with Vision Pro.

All of this is overated with heavy marketing...the same with Vision Pro... Nothing new but a big show to make you think it's awesome!

It's Apple...it will be a success...they can do whatever they want!
Media will emphasis what is a tiny little bit better and forget to tell about all is unacceptable (or should be)! As always!

              Like first iPhone...without 3G
MacBook you can't update with extra-Ram or new SSD.
Latest Apple TV unable to decode the latest streaming codec.

Apple always succeeds in selling you something they know you will change in the next 2 years!

              Vision Pro is the same!
If it will become usefull (who knows?), processing power needs will explode.
As they put M2 in the headset, you will have to change all! New 3500 dollars expense!
Wise technical choice was to put M2 motherboard in a separate module like the battery...you need extra power, you change the module for 500 dollars.

Methode is the same since Macintosh (128k) in the middle of 80s!

In short? MAC will never surpass the PC, did not happen in 40 years will not happen in the next 100. And AR, VR, MR will never surpass The Computer, at least not in the next 50 Years.
Their will be a tech that will bring the computer to another level, but this glasses won't be it. And the more seemles they will try to make them, the more the Guvernments will try to ban them, for obvious reasons.

They are marerly some wannabe jurnalist on youtube that indirectly oromote the product. Let's us all see what enterprises talk, and well, you buy it,since you seem so convinced and tell others how much you use it... Sense a great fanboy in you, so why not? I mean, apple provides, you just need to buy😉.

AnonD-1094444, 07 Jun 2023You're telling me this isn't useful at all? Are y... moreYou have no idea what you're talking about, this copy paste glasses are direct competitors to holo lens. The difference is that ms never marketed holo lens for the mass, those are mostly made with enterprise in mind. Apple wants to enter the b2b market but for that it needs to first establish themselves on it. With this "glasses" they call computer, they won't go to far imho. Also it will be a hard sell on enterprise when hololens are priced the same and can do way more while doing way better when it comes enterprise integration. If there is any customer in enterprise then, who buys them must be some kind of a huge fanboy. As for the typical consumer, why would anyone invest 3500€ in this, beats me. But hey one or more fanboys will definitely do buy them and keep them on the shelves after 4 hours of usage, to collect some dust. Now i am not claiming that it won't sell, their marketing as being a "computer" will draw some to the party, but defintely only apple fans.
You said something about the useless front screen. Why would that make a difference in the world of AR; MR; VR? It is not like it would be able to mask the fact that the person wearing them looks rediculous at best, with all those wires hanging and huge glasses on their face. It ain't a pretty site no matter what those glasses have painted on them, so am pretty sure that a person who grew some neuros, won't be interested in this glasses because they can show some eyes on the front panel, but well i never said that everyone has neuros. Let's see how apple does and let's let the brainwashed claim "apple does it better" to flow somewhere else, because it ain't close to the truth, and is a claim that can only be used by people that never used other products, therefore have no idea what they are talking about.

Little study would help you to know about tech. Holo Lens is way more feature rich and effective. Vision pro literally copied things from Sony in name of higher end specs lol.
