    I remember when the Pixel 4 came out with 90hz refresh rate.......I’m pretty shocked Apple didn’t go full Pro Motion on such expensive product.......

                          2 ways to approach, 1. Build a glasses with camera that 99% people can use, 2.Build an expensive full dive glasses that 1% of people will find worthy to spend their money.
                          Apple is built for that 1%.

                            For this price I can buy Quest 3 + the upcoming Pico 5, AND still have money to buy TWO flagship smartphones or a high-end laptop!

                                Darth Caesium, 08 Jun 2023The problem is that if there is something that can't c... moreIve not heard a single vr headset that doesnt make someone motion sick after some amount of time passing, i personally havent owned a vr headset but my mate had the original rift back in like 2014 ( had couple mates owning the quest and vive etc) so i understand the premise very well and its really a gaming refresh rate issue not general use case looking at mostly static 2d images. (could see my lead web dev mate whos locked in the apple ecosystem using this and getting a lot out of it)

                                Also people complaining its not running over 90hz, its pushing what, 24 million pixels which is greater than 6k (21 million, 8k is 32 million) and its still able to refresh at 90 times a second, people are so entitled and spoilt now its unreal.

I didn't compare things. Neither did I suggest that you should use a Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W instead of your phone. I simply said that a computer wasn't anything special. That guy seems to think that a computer is something special, which isn't the case. A computer is just a device that computes. Smartphones are also computers.

                                    90hz... I was hoping to see 120hz but it's good that it's not 60, at least.

                                        Too much hype for this device. Looks like a refreshed Quest 2 or what a new 3 could be and the specs don't seem that great even on paper. Let's see how it performs.
