                Currently in the US, Motorola, OnePlus & Nothing are the new players that are gaining market.

If you use logic, having a center notch basically splits the space into 2 fixed regions, which is not the case with corner notches.
                  And I have samsung phone and the corner-top camera never bothers me.

                    Anonymous, 18 Jun 2023It is opposite for me, centre hole is the worst they are fr... morecorner front cameras are the ugly ones though, as because of it the clock is awkwardly slightly to the middle but not quite at middle so it looks awful, and then theres way less space for notification icons, with the camera in the middle none of this is problem, the clock is in the corner where it belongs(and with samsung phones you can move it to the right side where it belongs) and you have plenty of space for notification icons.

                    And I have samsung phone and the middle-top camera never bothers me.

                      Really, Asus should make a news series of Phones, call it TUF Fone or ExpertFone. Since now ZenFone focus on being small premium and ROG is big gaming premium, they need a practical series, be it ExpertFone or TUF Fone:

                      3.5mm and Dedicated Sim Slot.
                      Use Either Previous Gen Dimensity 9000 or Current Gen Dimensity 8000.
                      Have 3 back cameras, smaller sensors, but with OIS, no need to be too good, just decent. Telephoto needs to be at least 72mm, if 85mm even better.
                      Selfie Front camera needs to be around 1/3" and around 20mm.
                      Front facing Speakers.
                      Either Aluminum Alloy, Aluminum Nitrate or those Thermal conductive plastics. If using Aluminum Alloy, have a Plastic Window at the top for NFC.
                      Can use the ROG Phone's Cooling Fan accessories.
                      No Frills, ie: Wireless Charging, Air Triggers, Flip Camera, Under screen FP scanners, Internal Liquid Cooling and so on.
                      If possible, change to a 60Hz rLCD or Color eInk screen. It will save battery life and is better on the eye.

                        I love it!

                          Good that they're keeping the same design/size; it's still one of the best looking smartphones around.

They could probably launch a sub-brand like Xiaomi / Vivo / Oppo do if the issue is Zenfone trademark. Given the enthusiasm and fan following, it'd still be a big hit. No idea what stops them, I'd buy it even for the same price as ROG phone.

                                  Practical expectations / requests to Asus:
                                  1) After the launch, make it available in India 🇮🇳 at the earliest (unlike Zenfone 9 which never came or Zenfone 8 / 8z which came after so many months).
                                  2) Focus on software support (at least timely bug fixes / security patches)
