Thanks Sony for keeping the punch hole off the screen! (and until lately maintaining the LED notification light)

Cool. Not that I've seen many Sony phones out in the wild in both SoCal or the Philippines. I might have seen like less than 10 Sony Xperia owners in the last 15 years or so. Sony is such an obscure brand in mobile where I live and Filipinos are phone addicts.

Hey Sony, your Japanese people still love flip phones. Give us an Xperia Flip already! A successor to the Xperia Play would be nice too if no successor to the Vita. Gaming handheld market is heating up.

" exit the smartphone business altogether, following in the footsteps of the likes of LG and HTC."

Does gsmarena mean the Htc that announced 2 phones last month and u23 pro is selling more than expected?

Glad to hear it. They're one of the last companies making (near-)feature-complete flagships.

More competition is always better for consumers in the end. People who rejoice at the demise of any smartphone brand or those who wish for it are clearly not right in the head.
