After many months, only Redmi Note 12 has popularized 4 Gen 1. What happened to other brands? Qualcomm's latest processors are rarely used and OEMs are turning a lot to Mediatek.

1080p Video Capture is frustrating in 2023. My old Nokia 6.1 from 2018, and Moto Z Play used to do 4k just fine. Not sure what is stopping them otherwise the architecture seems pretty capable.

If it‘s TSMC, this is great. But if it is Samsung, it‘s not really an upgrade then. Also, I‘d like phone makers to actually use these chips instead of still releasing Snapdragon 695 phones that don’t even support 1080p@60fps.
