Nokia should be ashamed of themselves this tit for tat patent war between companies does nothing more than remove the freedom of choice from the consumer .
If the technology actually belongs to nokia then simply agree a settlement fee and continue to sell the phone it's that simple . Instead the ruling is to remove the choice of the HTC ONE from people in the Netherlands . Utter nonsense .

They have pointed the finger at and are going after ST Electronics. I suppose Nokia does have a right to ask HTC not to use the part in their phones, but who knows if HTC even knew that what ST Electronics was selling to them was protected technology. Sucks, but Nokia does seem to have the right here.

I believe they have a department who look after these kind of things. Therefore, that specific department is fulfilling its purpose and no interruption can found in their new innovations. I believe every company have these kind of departments.
Nokia didn't found a way, it found out it's technology is being used illegally and is causing a third party to earn some cash which truly belongs to Nokia. Therefore, its worth claiming. After all, it's not a claim about design, its about some serious innovation ;)

Here some HTC One fans (or funs?) are very upset because the microphone in HTC will suck after this. Well, this is HTC fault, not Nokia. Live with this.

..check this image and see who's stealing now. this technology was firs implemented on PureView 808 followed by WP8 Lumias. How it can be denied now that the code in the modules are the same - and is for Nokia use only..?

"Htc must of brought and paid for the mics and the suppliers" - HTC is so innocent, they didn't know what they were buying, come on...when you buy bananas and the seller tells you that are oranges, do you believe him?
"Just Nokia causing trouble to cause launch delays" - by your logic, how do you think this type of things work? HTC announces they are working on a new phone and Nokia asks them politely to give away all the technical specs and parts used so that they could verify if one of their patents is used? Of course NOT, when the phone comes out Nokia or other company can study it and then take a decision. This period matches with the one when the phone is first available, DUUHHH, and HTC had plenty of time to study Nokia's phones since this technology is used for a year ago, remember Nokia 808, and then the Lumias?...

I agree with Nokia's action. Every company has the right to protect it's technology especially with important engineering principles (software is always debatable). Sorry but despite Symbian and WP having the lowest market share at the moment; Nokia have hundreds of key patents that they need to protect. They invested billions of $$ in R&D in the 90's. Why should another company implement these technologies without paying a dime towards it?!
