Either way, let's ignore the Motorola part of his comment, Nokia does indeed rebrand most of their phones from chinese ODM companies. For example Wingtech and Huaqin.
Lenovo, the guys behind Motorola have also used designs from these two companies before. Hmmm.

Seeing Nokia and Apple cooperate giving me the creeps.
Since very long time apple used all possible to shred from skin anyone who wasnt wiorking way they want.
There are plenty of other mch better companies to cooperate with on this project. For example Huawei.

The difference with court case in Germany is BBK has more political influence in Indonesia and the case was dismissed in favor of BBK.
I am sure BBK is abusing IP rights in other countries as well and only waiting to get sued. Bottom line is BBK a shady group of companies.

Hugo, 02 Jul 2023Nokia should return to making phones and even redeveloping ... moreMaybe that could work as symbian or meego were quite efficient compared to microsoft's os take-over at the time. However as we both know there would be some uncertainty if it could have competed viably enough with the force of android and google pushing their os. Would be interesting to see it develop even though there is $$$ involved. Maybe a better solution to the non flagship range where some other non mainstream os's would test its viability and tak-up/acceptance by buyers for further implementation.

I'm talking about the real nokia which made phones like the n8, n95, etc.
Hmd doesn't even make phones, they are just rebranding some generic Chinese phone. All of their recent phones look very similar to motorola.

apple has no idea what high speed 5g is, smoke signal beta is almost ready on Nokia and Ericsson hk laughs and smiles the modem will probably never be ready
