Although at this time, I would not buy 65Watt charg... moreHope it will get at least 300 and charger included with the phone.
Whats the reason to give 100W charging speeds if they dont sell 100W genuine Samsung chargers.
Using one for example from Xiaomi will make different imapact on phone and battery than using a genuine samsung charger.
Each charger have different specs and will make different results on every phone and brand.

Anonymous, 13 Jul 2023just bring back expandable storage on flagships, that'... moreAnd why its an uuseless gimmick.
Like you cant buy a 1TB storage.
Even an UFS 2.0 were many times over faster than fastest SD card you can buy.
Anyway you can tstore and run your apps from your memory card so is pointless to have.

Anonymous, 13 Jul 2023Meh, high power charging for a few minutes, because it gets... moreMan no its not.
Gimmick is wasting 2 hours a day or (14 hours a week or 56 hours a month and 730 hours a year or if you like 30 days of a year wasted by waiting for charging your phone) to wait for your phone to charge when in some phones and brands your phone is ready before you make your morning coffee or shower.
Faster been always better. Like UFS 4.0 or even UFS 2.0 been always better than even fastest SD card available which is another gimmick.
Etc tons or cuntless of examples.

Anonymous, 13 Jul 2023This just show that Samsung is not the real leader anymore ... moreUmmm right..... because they don't have the fastest charging directly translates into that. That's logical.

DarlingYext, 13 Jul 2023Finally, that would be awesome, an actually huge upgrade.. ... moreWell when they said their phones support upp to 45W it was arely 20W in real life experience.
This 65W would be maybe 25-30W in real life.
But lets see.
Words and written on paper is no proof.

Well we hadone battery experiment with Note 7 hope this wont ends same.
And samsung should give chargers, cases and screen protectors like chinese did with their phones plus earphones like in old times.
Buing litterary empty box with just cable and sim ejector tool inside is nothing to stand out of crowd.
Anyway 65W aint much but still better than Google, Sony or Apple which is the leader in ancient times of charging tech.

I love how people keep saying Samsung and Apple are so far behind Chinese phones when it comes to charging, while at the same time disregarding them being miles ahead in literally every other department...which makes them sell millions of devices more than Chinese.
I couldn't care less about charging speeds. I want a snall flagship with great main camera, good battery and good software. I got that in the S23, and 25W charging is more than enough. Hell, even 15W is fine. I charge over night anyway.
At this point there's nothing I want on my phone anymore, well...except the return of old things like being able to change battery, headphone jack, IR blaster and SD card.

But in order to sell their flagship device, they really need to catch up with the trend otherwise, they will become blackberry

Anonymous, 13 Jul 2023Will it come with Banana Spots on camera lke S23 series ??Not only that, imagine if Samsung fucked up and made all of the cameras suffer from this, and once again never acknowledge that it was a hardware defect rather than a software problem.
Also, let's hope the stacked battery tech doesn't end up causing problems. Nobody wants a phone that blows up in your face, though admittedly a second exploding phone fiasco similar to the Samsung Galaxy Note7 could be the only way to end the Samsung-Apple duopoly.

Although at this time, I would not buy 65Watt charging flagship phone because it's not up to the competitor..... I'm glad that Samsung finally realize what a joke their charging speed before. I really hope that in 2024, samsung will finally reach at least 100Watt, and we're all as customer will be happy.

Don't care about Samsung, but if all phone manufacturers are able to adopt this tech, then we could have foldables with 5000mAh that also have no-compromise cameras that are as good as flagship bar phones. If the Honor Magic V3 used stacked battery tech using their silicon-carbon batteries, then they could have a 5000mAh battery that only uses the space required for a 4000mAh battery, providing additional space for better cameras, like a larger periscope telephoto with a 50 MP resolution and 5× optical zoom.
For ordinary phones, this could allow for budget phones to be thinner, or allow them to have faster charging. I personally don't see the point in having a larger capacity battery, especially if the charging speeds are not at least 100 W or higher. Even then, they have to be able to use those speeds constantly, rather than using it for 5 seconds before falling down to like 45 W. In the end, if nothing else I've mentioned is done, then at least that extra space created could be utilised for better cooling.
Overall, stacked battery technology has many uses.
