Even Samsung is not confident in the capability of the chipset so they are cowardly putting snapdragon chip in their most lucrative market. Shame on you for screwing the rest of the world. If you are treating people like garbage, atleast do it evenly to everyone.

Anonymous, 14 Jul 2023Did people forget EU got Snapdragon in S23 only because Sam... moreExactly why I'm staying well clear of Samsung and their scamming and rip off tactics.

Vote with your wallet and look elsewhere maybe then they might learn

I was planning to buy the 24 Ultra after skipping on the 23. PLS DO NOT MAKE IT EXYNOS :(

I have s21 Fe with snapdragon 888 and it has much better drivers(even custom ones) etc for emulators than any non snapdragon phone.

Also one thing which is reason why i am not going to buy other than snapdragon based phone is upcoming snapdragon spaces AR glasses which require flagship soc from Qualcomm so even 8+ gen 1 is just too underpowered for my use.

Will see if S24 series will have Qualcomm snapdragon 8 gen 3

I'll keep my S23U to S25 or perhaps moving away from the brand if they continue to do sh!t like this 🧐

And since Vivo or Meizu aren't buying anymore Exynos at the moment ...

Anonymous, 14 Jul 2023The bigger issues is that most people don’t care. I hav... moreI concur, I had S22U and I kept my Note10+ one more year, mainly for the missing SD slot and the feeling in hand ... Note10+ was way better. Perfomance was awful and battery life in S22U wouldn't last half a day. Also, when sollicited a lot, it's becoming quite warm in hand, not a good sign for thermal management/lasting years. Heat is the ennemy in this case 😬
On S23 I can charge only to 85% and making the day with the same usage, coming home by night with more than 20%. That's very nice!

S23U is the semi 'sweet' spot since it's kinda big for daily usage. Sometimes I would prefer a smaller footprint and I hope they'll reconsider this segmentation ✌

Once again Samsung screw customer, keep going and even the loyal fan will leave.
Keep your customers happy by listening to them and you'll sell a lot! 🔥

I get the part of doing their own chipsets. The ambition. Just like Apple cut down Intel, just to make more powerful chipsets without a supplier involved, more money to them, and better chips to customers.

But with Exynos ? Yeah no supplier involved, more money to Samsung for sure, but worse chips to customers is guaranteed. I'm not talking about the useless numbers of Geekbench, I'm talking about worse battery life, worse camera quality, mediocre thermals to the point of burning your hand...

Samsung has an extensive know-how but making chips isn't part of it. The worst part is that they know this would never fly in certain places like the US, so they put Snapdragon there. But in other, less tech tech knowledgeable places like Europe and many more, they ship Exynos phones.

I think that's a despicable way to do business.

Someone talk about Exynos 2200 is the worst soc in 10 yers! It's wrong. The worst is the Exynos 990.

Still don't get why it's called galaxy S23 FE although it's more like a A54 plus or pro. Same size and design as A54, but uses a more powerful Exynos soc.

                              GSMArena,

SM-F711B and F711U1 are the variants of Galaxy Z Flip3, not S23 FE. Galaxy S23 FEs' model codes are S711B and S711U1.

Samsung Galaxy S23 (Fuc*ing Edition) FE is using the crapNOS SoC for the global market. Yet, the price will be damn expensive 😤 Someone, send me one for US with SD 8+ Gen 1. I don't want crapNOS SoC 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️
