Aside financial management, some need to get life management, doesn't mean something was first of a kind and you waste 190k on it, and not like its for collection, like someone is collecting for their collection as they like of to their heart, this is just because like i was idoit enough to buy it at 190k some other more idoit enough will buy these 10 years later for 500k from me anticipating they will again fool someone for a million again 10 years later. Making something of no value to exaggerating price to fool in name of investment.

AnonD-1073493, 17 Jul 2023damn it, why didnt i thought of this years ago 😞It doesn't matter because 6.1 million units were sold per wiki https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IPhone_(1st_generation)

My point is that I cite two personal examples.

First at the end of a 2 year contract I upgraded, I didn't like the phone so bought a totally different phone model handset barely used I mean hours not days still sits in its box at home.

2nd phone like all my phones from day one screen protector in phone case not a mark on it I mean Used like mew
BOTH not iPhones years old, but better than the $190k iPhone

Why this purchase makes even less sense is, here in the UK most networks have already cited dates for 3G switch off at the latest 2033.
2G switch of by the end of 2025

Are you seeing this apart from the many examples cited about the worst way to spend $190k.....A phone that won't be able to connect to any network

        Somebody call 911!

          Damn 😶

Had 8 of them, last one I sold jn 2009. Now that I think of it, tt was good business accumen, the $8k I made by selling them, if I had put in on stocks in 2009, now I'd be a millionaire. If instead I was to keep the phones I would make several hundred thousands of dollars... ofc I did none of the above two. I mean selling them was the right move (back then), not putting my proceeds to stocks (in 2008-2009) was life wrecking (I'd be multi millionaire by now).

What's the point to buy it? It isn't an antique car or golden chain. It is more useless version of useless new iPhones.

The western world and their fascination with Apple.

Some definitely have issues in where they go with their money.. first gold vr goggles from Apple, and now this. Not to mention the d**bs who pay thousands to own a digital sticker! They have no clue what this cost of money can do for them.

They need to have financial (and life) management courses.

The battery won't even hold half the charge but some imbecile pays this amount? I must be from a different planet because I don't get it...

                          nothing special..just ordinary e-waste

People really do have money to waste, so 190k just for bragging rights,I'd rather a buy a brand new Porsche or a piece of farm land to build a house on
