I care about upgrades, and the 7200 is definitely a welcome one over the 1080. If they put anything faster than that, even better.

        And whoever bought the Note 12 Pro at launch prices isn't very smart. Smart people wait a couple months until prices go down and then get a fair value. Didn't you know the Samsung A34, for example, was over $400 at launch? Go look at it now.

        And even in the EUR/USD differences, back then you could get a Poco f3 for a little bit more than the Note 10 pro, even at the same price without too much hassle, so my point still stands. Things have obviously gone even worse after the pandemic but is not so different.

That is an issue as USD is worth less than EUR. The Poco F3 was around €70 more than the Redmi Note 10 Pro. Whereas the Note 12 Pro+ is exactly the same price as the Poco F5 despite being much less powerful. The Redmi Note 12 series is awful value.

            I already know about the D7200, which is weaker than the D8200. So anything less than the D8200 for the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ is unacceptable. Just because you have low standards doesn't mean I do.

            Xiaomi put the D8100 in the €350 Poco X4 GT and you'd be happy with only the D7200 in the €470 Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 🤣🤣

The Poco F3 was 300-350 euros depending on the storage. You could argue the same thing back then you argue now, even more so back then.

                            And the Note 12 Pro+ being a bad deal isn't new. The real value is the Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G, which can be found at $270 for 8/256, and it is a far better choice that the former. Of course if you get higher than $350 then the Poco F5 is the smartest choice.

                            Also I recommend you to check the Dimensity 7200 reviews, the chip is very competent for the midrange class.

                              Beautiful design. I wouldve bought this phone if i already didnt have a xiaomi 12t pro.

In China there are at least two redmi series a year, one focused on providing a mid range chip with a better main sensor e.g. Redmi note 12 pro and note 12 pro+ and one focused on performance Redmi note 12 turbo and Redmi note 12t pro. The Redmi note 12 pro and pro + have better main camera sensors but the Redmi note 12 turbo and note 12t pro have much better processors. None of them have excellent cameras. Despite the 12 pro and 12 pro+ having better main camera sensors I'd argue tha tthe note 12 turbo is a better overall camera phone due to having the better ISP in the snapdragon 7 gen 2 and also due to having electronically stabilised 4k video. The note 12 pro and note 12 pro+ only have EIS at 1080p which renders 4k video pretty much useless. It's a bit of a waste of the decent main camera sensors.
