25 July 2023
Only for some regions, of course, perhaps not even Europe this time. But insiders claim that this is a serious consideration.

and in internet world nowdays, where are less-tech-savy region ?
even i know some people just buy the best on the list, then those people might opting for more popular such like iphone

and how the logic, making more money on phones sold, when it might cause less S24s sales due to inferior chipset ?
they losing like $500 materials per phones, compared to less profit from buying ~$100 chips

Great job Samsung. I only buy Samsung with Exynos chip.

Three years satisfied experience of using Samsung with Exynos chip. Will buy Samsung phone with Exynos again without thinking twice.

                        No exynos no buy.

Any phone with exynos chip should be priced higher than any substitute phone than inferior qualcomm chip. The popular exynos brand is enough to justify the premium price, let alone popular samsung phone with popular exynos chip.

Let the people with no money buy other samsung cheaper alternatives like Apple or other chinese brand.

“The final decision is likely some months away and Samsung may be waiting to see how the Galaxy S23 FE is received”

I mean the answer is pretty obvious

Naaahhh Most Samsung users don't know anything about Exynos, they only buy the logo.

If they sell about 30-40% less than the superior Qualcomm TSMC fabbed chipset then I can reconsider otherwise avoid at all costs if they price it equal to it.

If Samsung still can't get the thermal efficiency right as they did with Snapdragon 888, 888+, and 8 Gen 1, why bother.

okay time to buy the S23 then.
Seriously, SD8gen2 was a leaps and bounds in performance and efficiency, pretty much catching up to Apple's chip. It is an excellent chip. And Samsung wants to destroy their one year of goodness just to bring back Exynos? Samsung should look in the mirror, how their fab sucks so bad that Qualcomm moved on to TSMC. The sub-par Exynos might be excusable in mid-range or lower, but for flagships, it's inexcusable.
