Only issue with faster charging is slightly smaller battery. Also, Chinese brands don't believe that much in standardisation of tech (nor does Apple). Big brands have to play safe, especially Samsung after Note 7 fiasco. I still prefer a PD charger which can charge all my devices at 65w rather than 5 chargers for 5 different devices.

Youtube is full of videos of charging tests, none of them have phones above 65W charging that are able to be below 42 celsius.
These tests are made with airplane mode on , done in rooms with Air conditioning.

As long as I wasn't using the phone while it was charging, I never saw it reach more than 37 degrees Celsius. Even during hot summer days. Strangely the Pixels I had in the past (6 Pro & 7 Pro) could reach 38-39 degrees while charging (just charging, without using).
