The Gen 3 chip changes how the four CPU clusters are divided. The prime core doesn't run at 3.7GHz as some rumors suggested.

I don't think there were any specific numbers released at that time, as Samsung's OLED only had to compete with useless LCD on the other brands. But sub-400 nits at 1080p vs 1,750 nits at 1440p definitely makes a difference. 12GB RAM vs 2GB RAM also makes a massive difference on battery stamina.

              2014 flagships can work about 4-5h from 3000 mah battery. 2023 flagships can work about 6-7h from 5000 mah battery.
              Galaxy S5 has endurance rating 83h vs 126h for S23U. But last one has almost double battery capacity.
              Where is the efficiency improvement?

                I care more about cameras but rumor about those is about as bad as it is good, just imagine: 12mp,200mp,50mp,10mp. Totally not to my liking. Why can't they use something like 3x50mp or 3x200mp, but 4, 4 different resolutions...feels like my old x30pro vivo, it was with 8mp,64mp,32mp,13mp.
                Though now I care about consistency.

                            ~10% faster in ST mode, ~20% faster in MT mode.

                            Meh. Unless it's a lot more power efficient there's no need to even think about upgrading.

                                These frequencies are from overclocked chip insode samsung, not regular 8g3.

                                  It is now very clear indication that Samsung is not getting exclusive earlier access to 8+ Gen 3. So Exynos is coming back for sure on S line!

                                    that's just insane, 99% mostly for ThiccThocc and insta. No one said this for what? like 24gb ram and 1tb yesterday?
