this is PREMIUM foldable, but better price than Z Fold 5.
i doubt if Xiaomi made foldable phone released outside China in next year, it will be sweat challenge to Samsung.

Would steal a great... moreI would disagree with "great amount of Z Fold customers" because we haven't even seen that in their own backyard. Last year, they also had "better" hardware than Samsung. Yet, CN's foldable market share for 2022 broke down as follows:
Huawei: 47.4%
Samsung: 16.5%
Oppo: 13.8%
Vivo: 7.7%
Honor 6.6%
Those numbers are just from CN's foldable market share so there are no excuses about availability, political inspired bans, software support, marketing, deals with Black Phillip etc.
It's not just about hardware. This is about selling premium devices and these companies don't have the familiarity or brand cachet with consumers like Apple or Samsung.

Also Oneplus is also releasing their horizontal foldable in the not too distant future.

Mix Fold 2 remains China-only forever, so I totally doubt this Mix Fold 3 will ever get international release. Outside China, your only chance for horizontal foldable phone is Samsung, and that's it.

Xiaomi has already said that this product will only be sold in China. Even if it breaks that and goes on sale worldwide, it will probably be more expensive than anything Samsung has ever made, given the precedent.

Why is MIX name still exist? Mi series name are already removed. Better using just Fold name instead of MIX fold like Mi series.
Xiaomi 13, Xiaomi 13 Pro, Xiaomi 13 Ultra, Xiaomi Fold 3.
Simple just like iPhones naming scheme.

rizki1, 14 Aug 2023This, if imported, is still cheaper and better than Fold5. It's lacking key band support for many countries. The Honor magic V2 would probably make more sense. It's got very good international band coverage on the Chinese variant and is thinner and quite a bit lighter. It probably only really loses slightly on the cameras, well the zoom cameras anyway. Also it will get a global launch at least in some countries
