    Also curving the edges but keeping the screen straight and flat. Will make it look like an old phone. Most phones back then did this and still had bezels at the time. It's why curving the screen with the edge made sense as it gave the phone less bezels and bigger screen. Just look at any old iPhone and android. You'll see why a straight flat screen with no curved edges but a curved edge frame wouldn't make sense even back then. For the reasons I explained. Going the direction you said would make Samsung phones look OLD, CHEAP, UGLY, and we already know how Apple people on ads and even customers would make fun of android people even more now.

      It took them almost 10 years to realize their mistake. Better late than never.

        Good good. Seems like companies are becoming aware of the tempered glass issue on curved screens. The only glass available for curved ones are uv tempered which cause more damage to screen when removing. Flat screen are the way to go now. Now only one plus is stuck with curved screens.

              Samsung must have noticed that even mid-rangers were using it now. They obviously lost the premium appeal.

                Finaly a fat screen on a Samsung flagship.
                Now add at least 125W charging like my current Moto Edge 40 pro and a genuine charger into the box.
                Remove that horrible UI. Pure android experience is always best.
                Anyone wish to use Samsung garbage apps and features already given and preinstalled by google can instal them anyway. IU rather want clean purified device than uninstall everything from phone which takes another several hours to remove all that unwanted garbage.
                Add SD 8 gen 3 instead of horrible Exynos.
                Some good cameras without ugly green scent in a banana shape like last time.
                And i maybe try and buy a Samsung for the very first time.
                Well have high hopes in you Samsung please dont fail.

                    Finally getting rid of "bent" screens.

                      Hopefully this is true and Chinese brands will follow suit and we will get the long overdue end of curved screens 🙏🙏

                          kek, 22 Aug 2023is Samsung finally regaining some sense back? A little bit. What kind of fool thought writing on a curved screen with a stylus was a good idea? Reading is also hard so you need to increase side margins of ebook readers to avoid warping and glare.

                            Yess yesss yessss flat screen!!!!! I just posted a poll on redit in rGalaxy.
                            Spen us unusable on the curve screen. We don't get proper screen tempered glass for curve screens
