Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra to shatter brightness records and have huge bezels

23 August 2023
It's unclear what will sear your retinas the most: the sun-like brightness or the vintage bezels.

>not a good outlook
According to who?
>muh bezels bad
This is fine. It's just a artificial problem forced by the industry and the press. The bezels are fine.

All samsung can do is to boost peak brightness, something users cannot achieve because it requires 1% of screen lit while the other 99% remains black.
While year after year still bad calibrated, low frequency flickering that hurt eyes and useless curves.

Samsung lost 25% share in North America and Australia last quarter.
Sales of s23 series are weaker than S22.

finally without curved shiitt display...wellcome back flat wellcome back normal use without wrong touch...

"..shatter brightness records and have huge bezels.."

What an "upgrade" that would be.

However, I don't believe they would make it as ugly as that picture shows, that's like almost A54 level of bezels.

It kinda reminds me of the Galaxy Note 20, but even that had a much better screen-to-body ratio, so no way this is real.

Fake news. I remember them saying last year that the S23 series would have bigger bezels and worse haptic motors too.

How can samsung do it with there phones as have the cameras packed in the phone without a thick island and pop up camera lenses from the island like most chinese phone have. Where camera islan pop out from rear like half the phone thickness and then also all the 2-3 cameras then also pop out of that island more 1-3mm

Samsung have just the camera rings pop out and these are like 1-3mm only.
While for the screen all around the edges to have 3mm bezel is a serious fail for there most expensive flagship phone in S class. Flip and Fold are more expensive but these are like separate category as where fold is not really a phone anymore while for flip it is phone but still crazy expensive to just have smaller size phone when folded

The brighter, more power, more pixels, bigger screen and so on and depending on the Screen type. You always gotta make the battery bigger or make it like apple or with new androids where the phone manages what apps to keep on background stored for it to load fast. And keep those not stored like what Samsung phones do. Once you don't use an app for a whole month or the phone detects many background issue with a certain app you downloaded. Then it'll ask you to deep sleep it. To keep it from using battery, ram and even storage with all the cache build up.

The only thing android phones needs that Samsung has. Is the auto clean up of Cache and Ram. It would be good if it included EVERY SINGLE APP even SYSTEM to clean the Cache and Ram. NO MATTER WHAT. UNLESS ITS REQUIRED TO KEEP TO KEEP THE PHONE RUNNING PROPERLY. But so far Samsung is doing good with battery management.
