            Anonymous, 25 Aug 2023Not double digits tho. Yes but only in multi core like apple's A16 beats sd Gen 2 by 9%. In Single core its beat Sd Gen 2 by 20% but in phonebuff's real speed test it was tie between s23 ultra and iphone 14 pro/max

                Don't make phones unless your specs are good beast.
                Provide 16 gb ram atleast and 24 gb ram in pro versions and storage upto 1tb in both a series & pro series otherwise please stop making phones and last fast charing minimum 100 watt. elsewise scrap your pixel phones not needed camera phone we have dslr camera not wasting on these unecesaary phones.

Google and... moreChip optimisation is a really important aspect of performance.while it is true that no level of optimisation can fulfill the gap caused by worse design & Manufacturing process but optimisation can help reduce their apparent effects.

                  Reason why Apple Macbooks perform exceptionally well with their in-house SoC is hugely contributed by their optimisation.On the other hand Intel/AMD chips seems far behind compared to Apple in terms of efficency,judging by difference in their battery endurance,but in reality these two are not that far behind.
                  2 major reasons why Windows perofrm so bad in endurance is-
                  1. Windows in general uses much more background resources so it causes significant drain even when not in use.
                  2. Microsoft,PC Brands in general don't put much effort in optimising their chip.this leads to very high Idle power drain,Cores ramp clock speeds to Unnecessary high levels.

                  Similar thing also applies to Android.

                  Qualcomm,Mediatek have better optimisation & combined with superior Manufacturing node & expertise,these perform incredibly well,even so that Qualcomm perform better than Apple in most use aspects.

                  Tensor,Exynos are not that well optimised by Third party developers & on top of it paired with worse Manufacturing process,less efforts in designing & perfecting chip,these perform rather poorly.

                    I wish at least this time they put bigger battery at least 5000mah. Because they only good phone make sense.

                                Google Tensor is a series of ARM64-based system-on-chip (SoC) processors designed by Google for its Pixel devices.

                                I know you probably mean Samsung designed it, but is Samsung's Exynos any better? Their Qualcomm variant phones perform better than their phones using chips designed by themselves despite less "optimization".

                                  So Qualcomm Snapdragon are exorbitantly expensive they cost more than Apple's Bionic, I have no information on Mediatek prices. So one reason Tensor could be lowering costs.

                                  Second as reported here Google approached Samsung to help it in its design of Tensor.

                                  That relationship soured & if I read between the lines correctly, although Google was the client, and new entrant it "perceived" to know more than Samsung expertise ( just stick to the annoying adverts)

                                  Samsung contractor delivered like what every client wants the product requested. ( So they didn't know better)

                                  The SAME T2 used in the Pixel 7 mid range is the same as in the FLAGSHIP priced Google Pixel Fold all $1800

                                  Despite being a 9 Core underclocked T3 Geekbench figure are I don't know
                                  T3 1218 & 3175
                                  T2 1052 & 3288 Pixel 7

                                  If there is Galaxy Pixel Fold 2 Google will not get awa with charging Galaxy Fold prices as I don't expect much more gains

                                      i dont think this is just underclocked tensor g3. this is completely different processor from tensor g3, this is ARMv8 and tensor g3 is ARMv 9. pixel 7's tensor g2 has 3187 multi score in GB5 and tensor g3 uses same cores used in SD 8 gen 2 that means both single core and multi core will be higher but the issue is does Tensor g3 will be good in efficiency
