Some people carry their phone with no extra protection, others feel safer with a protector. Some see cases as a style add-on, others as unnecessary bulk.

    ive never put any phone case. just screen protector.

No one drops their phone in purpose except some YouTuber for their content purposes. They always "accidentally" doing that.

            You probably buy the cheap one, who knows.

              I put a screen protector on just after setting my new phone. Not a scratch on the screen. Now my wife, oh boy! I have changed the screen protector on her phone 7 times in the almost 3 years she's had her phone! Without a screen protector and case it would mean 7 new screens or new phones.

                I won't ever put a screen protector. Just a case.
                But i agree that over time, little scratches show up on my screen but they aren't visible when screen is on

                  You make a great point. How many laptops are made of glass? Who has a TV remote control made of glass? How about a glass mouse for your PC? If a phone is in a protective case people can't feel the glass anyway.

                      Until you drop it. Then you see line

                        All these years I have never used protection screen or a cover. It has worked fine with me.
                        However, these days phones of certain brands come with a free case inside the box. One such example is Motorola. Since a case was a part of the package, I am using it. Though have not applied any screen protector.

                        I use Pixel 6a for my personal use. It has no screen protector or any case. It's going fine.
