Sony Xperia 5 V is launching on September 1

As expected and at this point and going forward, if the pattern in the last 2 years stay (unless there's something in the way like Pro series launching or anything regarding their portfolio), Sony has settled the dates when their Xperias launched going forward for years to come:

Xperia 1, 10 series - 11 May (starting with 1 IV and 10 IV)
Xperia 5 series - 1 September (starting with 5 IV)

Pro series & Ace series are the only series that has irregular schedule.

          All of the hardware the Xperia's have is what ALL phones should have! Nuff said!

            Well, I don't really care about the camera or lack thereof as I take maybe a dozen pictures a YEAR! LOL All cell phone cameras have been more than adequate for years now. I do not buy Sony phones for the cameras. In fact I prefer the point and shoot type like Pixel has that are good enough...even better in many ways. However, if Google makes a stupid move and releases the 8 series as an eSIM only phone....then the Sony 5-5, 5-V, 5 Mark 5...call it what you want, will quite possibly be my next phone! There are so many other super positive things about the Sony phones BESIDES the pro-level cameras and apps! Remember when ALL phones had NO NOTCH, or PUNCH HOLE????? What about front facing stereo speakers, expandable storage, a dedicated shutter button, and a 5000 mAh battery inside a compact phone? I thought there were so many people clamoring for a compact phone??? So all the haters can continue to hate but the fact is that Sony is the one last holdout for building a phone with the proper sensors in the proper places. Now if only they wouldn't have removed the notification LED...so sad!

              You've had 5 generations to figure this out. If you still struggle with this then you might need some medical assistance.

              The naming scheme is fine. It's not Sony's fault you got negative IQ and still struggle with it.

              So we got:

              Xperia 1: Big flagship
              Xperia 5: Smaller flagship
              Xperia 10: Midranger

              These three are the main phones and there's been 5 generations so far. Please don't tell me this is difficult to understand.
