I think it should be the same size as the 1 just without the 4K screen and lower camera specs. Demand for small flagships is a non existent market now.
No those Samsung’s were 25:9, not 21:9. Also folding phones have a reason to be tall so the fold is not as wide.

808 build on top of that. 1020 was held back due to lack of dedicated ISP

The motorola that does not even let you adjust exposure while using video mode. No earphone jack, no micro sd slot, plastic back called vegan leather (not even same leather from LGG4)
I would like to know what are the equivalents of Creator Mode, Photo Pro, Cine Pro, Video Pro, Game Enhancer, HS control, PS remote, external screen mode/monitor on motorola phones because mine has nothing.
I cannot even tune screen according to my taste (just warm or cold) , something sony Z3 on android 4.4 had.
My old xperia from Z series had more functions than my current motorola.
Dear, the bill of materials of motorola phones are way lower than brands like apple, sony and samsung. And difference is not small.

I would consider a 5 V but if the two camera thing is true it’s going to be seriously DOA for the price point. Plus no increase in screen size, 6.1” is too small especially with that horrible 21:9 they keep sticking with that no one else does for good reason! Make a new large affordable model like the old skool XA2 Ultra.

When you have bayer CFA, for example 50MP , you can shoot 50MP at 24mm and turn it into 8MP same way Nokia did 38 to 5 and Xperia 20.7/23 to 8MP. Quality is higher than native 5 or 8.
Then you can out of 50MP crop 2x to 12.5MP , then resize to 8MP. It is gonna look better than native 8MP.
Problem now is using digital zoom, the upscaling back to original resolution, applying NR and sharpening to make it "look better". Reason they all look trash on tablet screen.
How many times has gsmarena stated full resolution of phones in the end are just upscaled from 12/12.5MP and not QB to Bayer conversion? 10000000 times.
This tech was never meant to be used at high res, but to have HDR effect with single frame instead of multi frame. Because 50% of pixels would be at different EV from the other 50%.
Nobody wants to use high res bayer because :
1) sensor costs more than QB/nona bayer , hexa2bayer
2) it requires higher quality lens than phones use today
3) ISP of mobile SoCs are not that fast, you can see it is tiny portion of SoC. Inferior to chips from cameras
It is not coincidence no sensor can physically output today 27MP like isocell HMX.
HP1 and HP2 to it by software. 50MP mode is artificial like the 200MP.
Brands still trying to recover money lost in 2020-21-22.
They cut every $1 they can from BoM.
Sony has removed 60mm camera.
Phone is going to cost same.
More money to sony since it will be selling more than previous now that ppl can see 1v can record way more than 1h of 4K@60 without the heat warning or app shut down.

Anyway, removal of telephoto should result in cheaper price because it now costs less to make, and crop from full resolution main sensor isn't as good as a telephoto. But Sony won't reduce the price due to greed.

Apparently they got rid of LED notification light.. why? Why not just ship it disabled, so people who really want it can use it.
If they got rid of that, they should've at least included an LTPO display as most major competitors are doing these days for low energy AOD.. Sony why?! (From a Sony phone owner)

That was a price comparison i took from. Mine Motorola Edge 40 pro bought month ago was for 789 at my network carrier.
