The Exynos 2400 will be manufactured on a 3nm process while the SD 8 Gen 3 will be on 4nm. The Exynos might win this time.

Data from research company Omdia.
Jan - jun/22 : S22u sold 9,8 million units
Jan - jun/23 : S23u sold 9,6 million units
Sales were better with exynos on board. 🤣
Top 10 most phones sold H1 2023 were all iphones and galaxy.

Well, if they really took a whole year to redo the chip and even skipped the usage on S23 series, I hope it pays off. After all, in worst case scenario, it'll be on par with 8G2 which is already good for most demanding games.

Majority of the people who buy the S series dont really know the difference in Exynos or SnapDragon or Mediatek and so on chips. They know it's the Samsung flagship series and when they get the phone they dont see any difference in them as it be still faster and smoother then there last flagship phone. It's probably really low percent of people who care about it. They just go for the 4 years of OS updates and 5 years of security update as they use the phone for the 5 years. One of my friends went from S6 to S22 year ago like month or 2 before the S23 come out and he even ask from me to recommend something but in the end of the day he went with samsung cause there for he didnt need to learn new OS skin with different brand phone and most be same from S6 to S22

gab88, 29 Aug 2023or buy the S23 a bit later..With Samsung planning to release the S23FE, it seems like they will discontinue the whole S23 lineup when the S24 is released. But yeah, if the S23 models are still available, they are the ones to get.

If Samsung wants to lose it European buyers of there phones with the use of Exynos chips in the S24 Models, then it could be a very bad decision indeed and could back fire on Samsung,Samsung think there as good as Apple or Snapdragon with the Decision to Create Exynos chips, but they know themselves there miles behind with there target, loads now after the S23 Ultra success will either switch to another brand and turn away buying another Samsung phone, until Snapdragon is used Worldwide again

Tipster claims the tip claimed by another tipster that was claimed by another tip is tipped tip tippity tip tap.
I do find it funny how this is still a surprise to some even though the Exynos 2400 has been rumored since the S23 released. Given the fact they took a year off I do wonder if they have learned some of their mistakes and the 2400 might end up being alright... heavy emphasis on MIGHT.

Having an Exynos chip instead of a Snapdragon has never affected their market share in any notable way.

The big challenge is going to be the 8 Gen 2 vs. 2400 comparison. If they are still facing the same challenges as with previous Samsung 4nm Chips, expect lower performance, and lower battery life, even if featuring the newer Cortex X4. It’s like Samsung is sacrificing their market share in Europe.

I just bought the s23 ultra and I don't think I will buy another flagship soon. I have had very bad experience with exynos so that would be a no for me.
