That said, 1 in 4 go without extra screen protection - however, a case is a must-have, very few use their phone without one.

      I use matte screen protector (used to use glass) and silicone case with thick corners, cause it's always better to pay $10 for case and protector than to spend $300 on a screen

                  And it's the same thing. I'd be happy to use no screen protector once the glass does NOT BREAK at chest height. Cuz usually you have it at chest height when using it. So once phones are able to withstand and survive without damage. Maybe a tiny scratch OK but cracks and breaks no.


                  Once that happens then maybe I'll stop but idk about the case. Without case would be. Once it's able to withstand a Meteor the size of the whole universe then yea.

                        I would like to use my phone as it is without anything extra on top, no case or screen protectors. The most I can do is put on thin film or skins to avoid scratches but that's it. Unfortunately with phones being so fragile that's not possible and ultimately cases are the only way to protect an expensive investment in case of an accidental fall

                            The glass is quite resistant to scratches, I saw my friend's phone using a plastic protector... even the traces of scrolling your finger on the screen can get really scratched.
